Getting here

Via the Corran Ferry

Nine miles south of Fort William is Corran. From there you catch the ferry, a short five-minute ride across the narrow straits of Loch Linnhe. Leave the ferry and turn left along the A861 toward Salen.

From Salen turn left onto the B8007 and head west along the shores of Loch Sunart, which is lined by beautiful ancient oak woodlands. After about seven miles you will pass the historic Glenborrodale Castle, the newly built Ardnamurchan Distillery and Ardnamurchan Natural History Visitor Centre. The road takes you further along the coast before heading inland for a few miles past Ben Hiant on your left. Continue towards the village of Kilchoan, you will find us on the left before the Village.

We recommend you check timetables in advance.

Via Fort William

If you decide to visit Fort William, you may choose to visit us via the more northerly route, heading west towards Mallaig. This road passes through Glenfinnan, where you can visit a monument raised to mark the place where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard at the beginning of the 1745 Jacobite Rising. You will also see the Glenfinnan railway viaduct, familiar to Harry Potter fans.

Continue north through the glens until Lochailort where you turn left onto the A861, signposted for Salen. From here travel along the coast with spectacular views out towards the Small Isles (Rum, Eigg, and Muck) and then down towards Salen.

From Salen turn right onto the B8007 and head west along the shores of Loch Sunart and its ancient oak woodlands. After about seven miles you will pass the newly built Ardnamurchan Distillery and Ardnamurchan Natural History Visitor Centre. The road takes you further along the coast before heading inland for a few miles past Ben Hiant on your left. Continue towards the village of Kilchoan, you will find us on the left before the Village.

Via the Isle of Mull

From Tobermory, catch the ferry (no booking required) to Kilchoan, the western gateway to the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Turn right at the junction onto the B8007 and find us a short distance away on your right.
